The installation ‹Membran› at DOCK Archiv, Diskurs- und Kunstraum consists of hundreds of pictures of famous paintings. These pictures are printed on transparent foil and stuck on the window. They overlapp each other and thus art works from different periods and artists form connections that otherwise would not necessarily be there. ‹Membran› invites the viewer to let their eyes wander and create new connections through time and space.

During the day the light from outside the room illuminates the installation, always changing and thus highlighting different bits and pieces due to the natural change of light. At night, however, the neon light from behind the window projects a colourful picture, which can be seen from the street.
